Vote Mihai Leu ... or else ...

In the United States, the rappers' message was clear: vote or die! In Romania, Mihai Leu, boxing champion and candidate for the Romanian Parliament - Deva circumscription - is not as menacing: "Choose well! You vote for yourself!". The effect is less mild - as seen from this photo:

I shall not vote - and this is why

It is now official - the aim of the political parties in Romania is to gain power for the sake of power. They call it "ciolan" in Romanian - "the bone". They are all the same - across the political spectrum, they lack dignity, they lack a back bone (speaking of bones), and they would do anything for a vote. I felt sick when, a few months ago, the PSD recruited Adrian Copilul Minune as one of their candidates. I said: OK, they are the left wing, it is normal to appeal to those Romanians who listen to manele. I thought the so-called right, or center-right, is ... different. Well, until today:

I had my doubts before whether I would vote or not. I had the PD-L in my mind as being the least distant to my ideas. Now, I am 100% certain I shall not vote - even for them.

A lovely evening

The recipe for a lovely evening: take one Monica, a kilo of shrimps, Tom Yum paste, coconut milk, eggs, some chicken, noodles, rice, lots of chillies, one piece of Florin, one piece of Cristina, and a telescope. Cook one litre of Tom Yum soup, several portions of chicken korma (curry with coconut milk), and Chinese noodles with seafood. Forgive Florin and Cristina for not eating some of the food for being too hot (chilly-wise), and Monica for letting the food to cool down for being too hot (temperature-wise). Open the window, look for the moon, and ask Florin to mount the telescope. Let the girls have some girlie talk about mobile phones sales, and help florin with the telescope handbook. Serve, as the desert, some caramel-flavoured Roiboos tea.
